A very charming and rare pair of northern Italian demilune-shaped two door cabinets finishing on high and minimally splayed legs. These elegantly proportioned cabinets are beautifully contrasted with their dramatic medium-to-blonde walnut veneer work providing a lighter more versatile honey hue. The “petal star” formation on the plateau is an extraordinary veneer detail that when the two demilunes are joined to form a circular center table, the wood grain aligns to create a symmetrical, sunburst-like focal point.
Lastly these cabinets are extremely versatile as they may used as consoles, or cabinets or in place of chests.
