A large Neoclassical two-drawer chest, crafted in the Louis XVI manner with restrained classical detailing. The piece features geometric parquetry and detailed flowering urn marquetry centered on the top plateau, the side panels, and the drawer fronts. Constructed predominantly from walnut, the chest is framed by precise linear borders veneered in various fruitwoods, including olive and pear. Its tall, tapered, square legs feature marquetry detailing on each of their three visible sides.
