A wonderful blown Murano glass mirror in a lovely transparent tobacco color and in the shape of a modern tapered shield joined by unlacquered brass fittings with beveled looking glass. This new style is inspired by both the 1940’s blown torchon mirrors and the Italian Design mirrors from the 1950’s but simplified with more modern details and a unique shape.

Origin: Murano, Italy

Condition: Very Good, Note as this is mouth blown and not placed in a mold each mirror is slightly irregular and unique.  Note the brass supports that sit behind the glass tubes may be removed at time of final installation but should be stored for future moving as they keep the glass in proper alignment. This mirror is sold with a wooden crate for safe shipping

Dating: Contemporary, designed by L’Antiquaire and made by wonderful artisans on the island
